Wacky gimmicks from the CEO... In 1996 Sheraton set up is first company back in Switzerland in order to properly deal with the increasing demand for INFERNO. Sheraton has not forgot his visual comedy roots and keeps inventing wacky products for magicians and comedians which he distributes worldwide through Hottrix, Las Vegas. The Film Bug... Soon after the post production of the INFERNO MOVIE he caught the film bug and purchased a post production company to facilitate further film projects. After expanding his company to the US with the aid of August Entertainment, Las Vegas he founded HOTTRIX' Media Dept. to serve his native Switzerland with an increasing demand for new media productions. Sheraton owned a small Arthouse movie theater in Basel, Switzerland. He sold it to buy Jazz at Pearl's in San Franciso. The Computer Bug... Sheraton, being an inquisitive mind, soon got into the programming end of computers and was Switzerland's first approved PalmOS programmer, thus inventing the world's first magic trick for the Palm Pilot. Recently he created huge waves with iBeer -the brewery for the iPhone and iPod. His Web-Design, marketing and programming skills have helped many of his projects exceed exposure and credibility normally associated with major budget campaigns. The Jazz Bug... After a life-long love affair with Jazz which was greatly reflected in his Shows and Film Productions Steve remodeled part of his Movie Theater into a 20ies style speakeasy Jazz Club Lumiere Noire to reflect his time-warp feeling of life ("I am stuck in the 20ies and don't feel like getting out"). The concept of vintage Jazz Shorts along with live Jazz proved to be so successful that moving to a bigger location was inevitable. Little did he know that the new location was going to be 10'000 miles away to save famed San Franciso Jazz Club "Jazz at Pearl's". Along with Kim Nalley he co-produced, designed and mastered her latest album "Need My Sugar" available at Virgin, Tower, Barnes&Noble and Amazon.com. Supper Club Express... Steve's latest project is Supper Club Express the world's first fully web based POS (Point of Sales/Cash register) system with integrated Box Office and Artist Booking module. After searching the world over for a fully integrated management tool for Music Venues, Restaurants, Bars and Theaters he decided to create one himself. It's free, works online or from your cell phone and it allows you and your staff to run your show venue from home or the pool... Send that free glass of Champagne to table 23 from your cell phone! Steve Sheraton currently lives in San Francisco trying to avoid occasional trips to Europe and Las Vegas, NV because he thinks airplanes are built like his inventions. He is currently working as the Creative Director of Hottrix and independently serving the entertainment industry as a director, producer and consultant besides running "on of the world's top 30 venues" (Conde Nast Traveller Magazine) San Francisco Jazz Club "Jazz at Pearls". He also likes long sentences. |
